1st training at Bia's gym today!
wow i must say, going through army and doing so many things before, nothing breaks a sweat or works you out like a muay thai session manz....Really love it and maybe, just maybe, I will be able to lose the weight that has bugged me my whole life...
Josiah
All the way mate. Good luckz.
Glad you like it! yeah, if you really want to lose that extra, you need to control your diet as well, but don't go in the other extreme, like not eating at all or stuff yourself 'cause u had a good workout

Hard to say good or no good lah, guess each gym has it's own strengths so i would suggest you pop down to the gym to check out the training. Seeing is believing...

Bia's gym is located at Boon Lay (Hockey Village) near Jurong Point.
Check out muaythai.sg's list of gyms and go check it out.
Bia's gym will reopen after the 10th, and yes, I'm 15 from Bia's
Is the gym in the Jurong West Sports Complex there ?
Er nope I think.
Huh , then can i know where exactly is the Bia Gym please ?
OH WAIT ! Please reply back to me asap !
Isit near Boonlay Market there ?! Beside Boonlay CC ?
I have one last question . For group lessons right , how long per lesson ? I only know for personal training , have one hour or one and a half hour per lesson .
Anyone please tell me asap , or add me on msn : calvin_goh@live.com . Thankyou ! ![]()
Yes, its the near the boonlay market. Beside the church.
One and a half too.
Bah , sadded . Parents say , ' NO ' . :/
They say Muay Thai is way to violent for an age of 14 to learn . Zzz
Maybe when i start working , i will learn .
That's tough... However on the other side, for the first 6months - 1 year at least any violence taking place will be between you and the punching bag!
Hi, can someone post more about the rates in bia's gym?
Like group rates/frequency. thanks!
To be the best potato, you must first be a true potato.

Usually 4 or more.
thanks mate, yer from there?
yeah
yeah
Hi,
I can see from the website u guys've got a closely knitted group there. What is the trainer to trainee ratio? Init typically 2:14 as per described on the website?
The trainers (Bert/Bia) are too friendly already, same goes to the members there!
er, okay. Give you one example, my class has like 8 person.
example, bia and bert each would take one for pad training,
while the rest either work on bags or other workouts (jump tyre/very light sparring) etcetc. Goes on for round then switch

where got violent lol, there are gangsters and ex-offenders learning hard martial arts too, its all in the discipline of a fighter. Wait till you 16/17, finish O levels, go work and learn. haha
drigorin, thanks for the info mate, enjoy your stint there! cheers!
eat well the weight will take care of itself and remember if u want a six pac on ur body u gotta quit the six pack outside the gym (typically in front of the tv) haha....
GOod stuff. Anyone knows what Personal training with Bia is like? Is it just technique and sparring or is there any fitness stuff like plyometrics and rope skipping?

Congratz~
You'll lose weight for sure if you train hard, and control ur diet!
