Adidas gloves
Hi,
I'm looking for gloves and found adidas to be quite affordable but how come everyone is talking about twins and fairtex but don't see any adidas brand?
Btw, what is the difference between boxing gloves and bag gloves?
And I'm a lady and got small hands so does that means I should get 8oz gloves?
Thanks!
Personal fav r leather gloves hence twins boon offer great bang for your buck
Not sure if e adidas pair u saw is pvc or leather ?
I airdry them n then insert sanitiser n dedeordouriser satchets into them
U can always check out e muay thai shop for e gloves deordouriser.
Usually my ladies client wear10oz best bet is try n test out.
If u just need 1pair of `general purpose` gloves Would recommend u buy sparring type gloves instead of pure bag gloves( e padding at fist is thicker )
Adidas are pvc gloves, their lifespan is very short. And they're not for muay thai. They're for playing mostly
Fairtex/boon sport/twins are made out of leather, the design is different, they offer protection for you and your partner. It's like the right tool for the right job
Glove maintenance has been covered here a number of times, basically you make sure they dry. But not in direct sunlight or hot air.
hth
Thanks!
Where can I get twins boon?
Hoping got some shops other than the one at haji lane found on this forum.
The addidas ones I saw are from Liang Seng.
Which size should I opt for ? I got small hands and should I get 8 or 10oz?
Thanks!
boxing gloves usually laced. meant for fights because tighter at the wrist area, muay thai and normal boxing gloves different in construction especially the thumb area. muay thai gloves allow the hand to be opened so can pull opponents in for kneeing.
bag gloves are velcro strapped so easy on easy off for training.
8oz or 10oz up to you la, try which one fits your hand best lor.. :-\
