How to continue with my braces currently. I still have 1 year ++!

Hi everyone! I know this is a weird question but, I'm afraid of getting into an accident which result in me quitting this sport ):
My parents stronly objected to this because of my braces~! 
Can someone tell me what to do?

Also, ask your sparring partners to aim for your forehead and not your mouth
