Tough thing abt buying online is that u don't get to try beforehand. If u want, I know the shop in Marina Sq has Judo gi.

Hi Torlitopilyo, just glad to be of help. I had a hard time looking to gi as well. Did u manage to get one ? I also just got a contact of someone selling Keiko and Koral Bjj gi. MY first gi was an adidas . It was good but then I also bought a Koral and recently a Keiko. The Koral was a little bulky but the Keiko was more tapered. Let me know if you need more info. Cheers . Hi Chris. Didn't get one yet. Still figuring out if taking BJJ classes is feasible with my budget. Me and my friend went to Evolve this morning. Looks like I can't afford it. Jawdropping! Redface haha. I'm a working guy and I'm not earning a lot. lol. Any suggestion where else bjj, or maybe judo (or some kind of grappling martial arts) is taught here in SG? The not so expensive one? In all fairness though, Evolve looks awesome. The facilities and the instructors look impressive. Thanks in advance! Smiling

Hi Torlitopilyo,

I know what u mean . I thought of joining evolve too cos they offer the most classes but the price is a put-off. Unless u can go at least three times a week, it's not worth it. I have irregular hours but their hours are more suited to the office crowd.

I do BJJ with a really good academy . I can't openly advertise but if u r interested , u can drop me a PM and I can give u details to when and where .

Then tell them to come forward and meet up for a chat! I'm sure we can reach a deal in everyone's interest.

Hi guys, if evolve is too expensive try kreation jiu jitsu at BXG gym. http://kreationjj.blogspot.com/. It's $100 per month for unlimited session. Four times per week,Mon, wed, Fri and Sat. For the gi try buying it online http://www.budovideos.com/shop/customer/home.php?cat=384 but its gonna be more expensive than judo gi because this is more suitable for BJJ and the material is more durable than Judo gi. For starters you can get judo gi at Liang Seng sports shop at Tanjong Katong Road and its cheaper than BJJ gi. For the brand new Judo gi, try getting a bigger size as it will shrink like crazy after the first wash. Normally, when you buy online BJJ gi its pre shrunk. Hope this helps you. (:

hi there Smiling

most BJJ gis that are bought online are not pre-shrunk. only the vulkan gis comes to mind when speaking of pre-shrunk ones. generally, most BJJ gis will shrink depending on how you put it to the wash.

GSP fan!? awesome Laughing out loud
