Sparring Event on 16 Aug 2009

There will be a sparring event held in Suphanahong Gym on the 16th Aug 09 Sun. The event will commence at 1300 Hrs. And the Weigh in will be the day before which is on the 15th Aug 09 Sat at 1700 Hrs.
UPDATE: The event is CANCELED.
UPDATE2: No it's not. Thai vs Thai fights still on, about 8-9 bouts. Only the local boys can't fight because of the darn politics and over controlling...

i think its something like, singaporean's safety due to the taekwando incident. so authorities only allow thai's to fight against thai's i guess.

Hi Guys,
Just got back from the sparring session at Saphanahong gym. There is about 4 bout with local but their opponent are Thai.
Quite a few exciting fights but I only have manage to capture one fight (Joy BXG vs another Thai) on video due to lack of camera memory.
I will probably upload tomorrow after the clean up.

- that Thais are "disposable" - WTH?!! Safety in martial arts should be across the board and not only confined to S'poreans in S'pore!!

Exactly. So Sillyporeans cannot afford to risk but Thais kena anything is their problem. What kind of rule is dat.
emm.. sry to ask but. can anyone just take part? or must have a trainer with u to sign up?
