Let me get this right - you would like someone to punch you? Think And if the answer is YES, and if someone did punch you and you ended up with a broken nose or broken facial bone or even black out or one of your nerves get ruptured and you ended up with a partail facial paralysis or even died on the spot. Who is going to be responsible?

You are a weirdo. Accurate punch would mean hitting anywhere right on target be it face or any part of the body. Under S'pore law, even if a person "A" asked another person "B" to hurt him and in the event something happen to person "A" eg. killed or paralysed, the law will still arrest person B and charge him accordingly - imprisonment, fine etc. You can be responsible for it but when you die, no one knows. And the fool who punched you willingly not only suffers, his family will have to suffer for his foolish voluntary act. And what about your family? Who is responsible to your family? What is the reason in wanting someone to punch you hard?

Even if you sign a contract stating that you are solely responsible for your request, and in the event something did happen to you, that contract is useless as S'pore law does not condone such activities (voluntary hurt). Their justification is that the person who did it to was of sound mind and knew whether it was right/wrong to do it. Its all about ethics.

dude, do you think we forgot about you??? stop this shit at once!

What you ask is stupid! Why don't you have the guts to step into the ring and prove whatever you feel the need to prove??? There's a fight on Sunday, I'm sure there will be plenty of takers more than happy to teach you a lesson!

where exactly u want people out there to punch u at? Or u can draw an "X" at the place u need to be punch at then wear a sign saying "please punch me at the X spot for $20." come on gutpunch, get in the ring for a first hand beating man. its much safer. we can arrange for u a suitable match.height weight and experience level. if u are sick enuf asking ppl to punch u,then u have no problem adapting in the ring. Anybody wants to be gut-punch promoter, cornerman or something?

There are Professional fighters who have died after being punch in the stomach. If u are in the streets, there might be ppl who wants to punch u. But this is Muaythai,we have sworn not to use wadever we have learn out there blindly. Y i suggest u to get in the ring is because its much safer as it is in a control enviroment. referee, medic, cornerman they are experience enuf to handle things incase anything happen. try it out man..

gut punch.

I am offering my opinions. Read on if you are having a open mind, if not please stop just right here.

I seem to understand that you are trying to prove something. And that this is fun. Well I feel and understand.

However.

You know you are in a forum where people really train and take their craft seriously.

There are some people here who say what they mean, online and offline.

I hope you are someone who does not suffer from verbal diarrhea. Because your word is your bond.

The reason why I am using this 5 minutes to type a response is because you seemed to taking this frivolously.

Do you know Houdini died taking a punch?
Mr David Blaine is trying to recreate what Houdini does in his acts.

There are techniques to this which anyone could learn given enough mentoring and practice.

I could probably take a full swing kick from a 90kg fighter with body pads on. I am 63kg. The Kimbo punch would wind me up but I should be okay.

After a year maybe. Ha !

I could do that but I would not. Explain in a bit below.

Back to DB and the Kimbo punch

However do bear in mind that David Blaine is a athlete. A world record holder. Yes world record holder for various endurance sports.

His body and his psyche would be conditioned in some ways.

My question to you is this. Do you think your endeavor would increase the quality of life in anyways?

I am not belittling you. If you do indeed find joy, I say by all means Godspeed to you.

Your act reminds me of my days long gone, of boys punching each other at the shoulders to see who gave up first. Actually it was fun !~ BUT

Would you think that kinda makes it juvenilishly childish?

Back to why I would not do it like the way you are doing. No value at all. Unless I am conditioning for a competition. Unless I want to prove my self esteem to the world.

Get in the ring Gut Punch. It is safer than what you propose. And you get real physiological benefits. Better body and all. Fights to boast to chicks. .0001 % more chance of getting laid.

You get the gyst

regards
cow

PS: I really really hope you choose a martial art and train hard in it and get into the arena someday. Now maybe?

yes i have an open mind and yes prove but not really to others or anything but myself (dats y i didn't want too many ppl around watching).

well i'm serious and say wat i mean too, so i have no idea y u think i'm being frivolous or joking (in fact i'm still waiting for someone who is for real in meeting up in a non-crowded place to try).

fyi houdini didn't die from the punch itself.

my answer to u is, it's fun like a hobby and dat has nothing to do with childishness. wat u're saying is as good as saying ppl running around kicking a ball or trying to put it thru a hoop is childish.

and wat u're saying makes no sense: unless u're wearing gloves and pads, otherwise u get way more bare-fist punches and even barefoot kicks or knees to unprotected areas like ribs or solar plexus. how in the world can dat logically be safer than one single (or 2-3) punches to prepared/ tensed-up navel?

Then all the best.

You missed the point and the context.

If you read through the whole thread,
Your tone and the smileys and the words used paint a frivolous image

You don't just come into a forum where fighting is sacrilegious artistic spiritual and(to some) religious form and asked to be punched.

Some and most would view this as childish.

If you like to see the limits, then just walk to a gym and tell the person face to face of your goals.

Words in a forum are more likely to be misunderstood and emotions added.

Face to face no problem.

If not a muaythai gym then any karate club might be good.

i dunno wat ur main point is nor wat context u're referring to, but i guess u didn't read wat i wrote properly either...

no matter wat picture i painted, i stated clearly and explicitly dat i'm serious and anyone else who also is will know when we meet up.

i've already explained (quite a few times in fact) about walking into a gym or stepping into the ring so i'm not gonna repeat.

btw i've met 3 ppl from forums tho so i figure if anyone is for real then there wouldn't be any problem. after all, whoever wanna call my bluff can just agree and arrange to try.

but still, thanks for ur best wishes!

Gutz

your welcome. I do and understand and have read what you are trying to do.

If you want to do it, why not dream big?

Which is the reason why I suggest to you to walk into any gym or club and ask someone to punch you. Preferably the strongest mofo you see.

Gut Punch wrote:

It is not what you say, it is what people hear.

Imagine a artist paint a picture with hues of black gloomy sombre colours but the message he intends is a happy one of peace. That's not congruent isn't it?

Secondly, to illustrate, why I would not walk into a gym and ask someone to punch me the first time. The other party might construe this as a challenge and not take it positively.

Similarly, coming to a forum of martial aficiondos and asking for a punch is albeit like a challenge. Without knowing you as a person, or your background, people make snap judgments.

It could go 2 ways.

Regards
cow

Like I told you, no shame in coming to our gym. We can form a line for you, and you take a punch from everybody if you want. Nobody will show you disrespect.

banglacow, dats where u r wrong: art is subjective and often abstract. words r not (dats y they count a lot in law). therefore it is not wat ppl hear, but wat i say. in other words, if they hear things i didn't say, then they need to wash their ears.

and again to answer ur question: if i were to just ask some random strongest-looking mofo, i wouldn't know if he's accurate or not (also mentioned quite a few times in my previous posts).

now even u urself admit the following, so y would i do it either?

antti: firstly, as per last statement above. secondly, i'm not saying dat u're lying or watever, but if u scroll up and read the tone of the comments written, u'd understand y it's hard for me to believe u.

anyway, as mentioned, i'm up for meeting up to 2 ppl alone (anymore ppl than dat like in a gym etc. and i'm sure they'll all gang up to ridicule me)...

cool man...theres no need to start an argument here. Let me break in down for u...Its so simple..1stly, gutpunch wants someone to punch him in his gut to taste or feel the pain that would be happening..maybe gutpunch really wants to know how it feels to be punch or maybe gutpunch just have the addiction for being punched or just maybe gutpunch found it kinky..So he try his luck by offering himself in here..2ndly,its obvious theres no one is interested to accept his request and after so much discussion and advice, gutpunch still want to be punch..come on guys and gals, lets just respect gutpunch needs..Finally, if theres really anyone who just broke off in a relationship,or being screwed from their boss and have the feeling to punch someone,Please kindly pm gutpunch for further enquiries..Everything will be at your one risk..hope we can put this matter to rest..Gd luck gutpunch, hope theres someone out there is willing to give it a go..

I believe we should all just ignore this joker. First he asks for someone with a hard punch to punch him but as the thread goes on, he says that nothing will happen to him because its most likely ppl will miss hitting him. So what does he want? To test ppl's punches on himself or test ppl to see if they can hit him? Frankly, this whole thread very bo liao. Puzzled Brick wall .....sigh

Mystiq

I'd say give him the benefit of doubt. Let's hope he would document his journey and enlighten us with some pictures or something.

antti: see, above is another example of wat i meant.

btw the title of the thread is already very clear, hard & accurate. wat i want is to confirm whether i'm rite to say nothing will happen if the person is accurate, so i'm asking if anyone thinks dat even if accurate can still have painful impact then i wanna test. see dat david blaine vid clip provided by antti can tell mah, so difficult to understand meh?

thanks danio!
