Muay Thai kick powerrr
More insight on the muay thai kick.
calcification doesn't strenghten our shin bones when we kick, something else does. "cortical remodelling" was the term used, no wonder some fighters have damned tough bones, it's not only the nerves that died couldn't register pain, the bone does indeed become stronger. i don't feel that the kicking of wooden poles as depicted in the video helps though, i guess it's just an example, albeit a poor one.
let's kick some heavy bags! woohoo!
i also see he kick with the area lower than the shin but i guess all the bones from the top of his foot to his shin are evenly tough for him.. didn't know who he was but apparently, he's one of few american muay thai fighters who made it big. his full name is melchor menor.
Actually the right may Thai kick is shin area??
*shrugs*
I've seen a kyokushin demo where the guy kicked through 3 bats tied together, so one bat probably isn't going to be a problem for most pro fighters.
some crazy bat breaking:
Politicians and diapers must be changed often and usually for the same reason.
o_O that's crazy alright... looks like jack black ![]()

Is he kicking with the shin or the top ankle part?
Abit confusing coz animation shows shin but live camera shows top of the ankle...
