young man, let me give u an advise,
u learn martial art not to start a fight,
but to end it.
so if u wan to learn muay thai to use it on the street, i advise you not to learn at all. it might get u killed!

First thing first, go and see a doctor, it could be your asthma acting up and do tell the doctor the truth so that he can attend to any other injuries that you might have sustained.

Secondly, I know you were trying to "defend" yourself but then again you could have killed or paralysed the other party and you guys are only in your teens and still studying and along way to go where your future is concerned....Please think of both your families first before doing such rash acts again.

Im very passionte about martial arts like muay thai. Im not using muay thai in the streets, anyway its the way i fight. Please understand what things im going through. If it comes to your family, you will do anything right? I noe not to result to violence. I've been counselled enough to know that. Thank you Mystiq, hope you and the other members that are reading this understand. If you are at my position then you know.

Kaimana, think about this for a while. If the boy had fell down from your kick and hit his head or neck on the cement floor and died, it will be manslaughter. Hope u can talk your way out of it then.

Kaimana, help comes in many form (although typically not in the way we prefer unfortunately)

Anyway, try smiling and walking away from whatever insults next time, it makes you a better man and him a bigger fool (probably piss the hell out of him too) Green

As for your pain, he probably did hit you just that in that moment of adrenaline rush you didn't feel/notice it. Go see a doc and explain the little scuffle

i used to be like you (but a little pudgy and nerdy). somebody scold me knnccb i sure fight with him. don't care if i win or lose. thinking back, it was a growing up phase that we all go through. it was more about our ego, saving face. we cannot stand being insulted in front of others, even more so when it concerns our parents (but since when were we so filial?) :-\

now when i'm older, i am stronger and faster (but not a fighter). when some people try to piss me off with words, i just laugh it off or walk away because i learnt that our Pride is the 1 main thing that gets us into trouble 99% of the time. let other ppl cuss and swear, i don't give a rat's ass but if they get physical with me then it's another story la Jab-Cross lol

btw, do go see a doc (polyclinic is cheaper) about your chest pains. it could be your asthma acting up..

Kids fight, does not hurt much. Should have recover by now?

If you are talking about salakau, hummm perhaps you are not such a good person also.

If you like fighting, learn Muay Thai in proper gym, fight for competition.

If the other party start the fight first, out of self-defense you can counter his attack, you can give a warning, but dont hurt him. Else it will be considered as fighting.

Dont start a fight! Dont be like child (but you are still kid). LOL.

ok. ok. relax.

You have asthma, bring along your inhalant. there are several secondary school kids around in fightg, they usually join the 530pm class. Check them out they come in school uniform....

You' re very stubborn, we alr told you to seek the doctor's advice, we are not doctors here, in a another thread, I did explain that different people have varying levels of Asthma, no one knows how serious your asthma is, only your doctor.

there are different type of asthma. but exercise such as running, swimming in outdoor (without haze) in general will not trigger asthma but in fact will improve the health condition.

Exercise-induced asthma, usually triggered in dry air (air-condition), will be alright if u r exercising in humid condition.

Allergy triggered asthma will be eliminated if the source (such as pet fur, pillow, blanket, smoke, chemical) is removed. Something unexpected things such as detergent power due to washing on the clothes can also cause asthma.

bring along your inhalant

Go to polyclinic. It should be cheap enough. And try to get a stack of medical record so that you can get excuse for NS.

Lol. Can you use your brain!? Who going to help if you have an asthma attack?

You can try skipping... That what the Thai boys do everyday for 20 mins. The difference is, we can watch TV while skipping, they dont.

You need to declare you have asthma in NS, as smoke and dust can trigger asthma it is not advisable to have you breathless while firing a gun.

Anyway, asthma dont come in a snap of a finger, there are signs, if you have asthma you should know.

If the other party start the fight first, out of self-defense you can counter his attack, you can give a warning, but dont hurt him. Else it will be considered as fighting.

Dont start a fight! Dont be like child (but you are still kid). LOL.

Based on what you say in the very first post, I don't welcome you to my gym, which is fightg itself. I sense that you are picking Muay Thai, not as a sport, but for streetfighting. I believe others also have the similar impression.

If you don't like my words, so be it!. YES. I don't like you. And I am already trying to tolerate your presence. And you are adding oil into fire. My impression of you is a nothing-to-do, cannot make it, hooligan. You are sec 2 boy, why are still hanging around outside at 2:30am. Should not you be sleeping? And when you reply my post at 9am, should not you be in school? Almost instantly I have already imaged you as Pai Kia. So Pai Kia, you want me to respect you, wait long long.

Anyway, just let you know, 2:30 am is not a good time to jog for asthma patient. The best time is at noon, the hottest part of the day. Because cold, dry air trigger asthma. Compare to noon, the air is warm and humid. Remember to drink more water.

Also at night when you do need to hospitalize, it is more difficult to get doctor.

Lokey, where did you get your info from that running in the wee hours in the morning is no good for asthmatics?? Puzzled While it is generally true and agreeable that the best time to train in any sports competitively is in the noons, I have never heard that cold dry air is bad for asthmatics and vice versa.

Most people do not run in parks at night because of the simple logic of plants/trees giving out carbon dioxide, etc but personally, I and many others run late at night and wee hours simply because it is cooler and I enjoy it very much.

Also, in the event of an emergency in grave yard hours, no one looks for doctors, ppl usually call for an ambulance and off one goes to the A&E to the nearest hospital.

PS: I'm an asthmatic

Personal experiences, I prefer noon over night.

For me, cold and dry air trigger my asthma. I can feel my chest tighten almost instantly when I enter the air-con room, now. Sianz.

See, i just wanted to know that only, thank you guyz.. Anyway, i jog at 2.30 in the morning cause the air is cool and i like it, when you run, there is not much vehicles to pollute the air, its deserted and all the shopping malls and bus stops have no people. I ran and i feel good its cool, nice and i feel that i can breathe easily and thats a very good think to asthmatic people like me and also mystiq and others.

Benefits Of A Morning Jog
Some people think that jogging in the morning will make them tired the rest of the day. But in fact, the complete opposite is true.

You will simply be amazed at how much more energy you will have during the day. Before I started this habit, I had a very hard time making it through the afternoons. Right after lunch I could barely keep my eyes open!

Doing any kind of work proved to be very difficult. But instantly, my morning jog completely changed all of that.

You will start to notice that you will be able to get so much more done. Your metabolism will be working for you throughout the entire day. You will also find yourself being much happier with life and everything in it.

The grass will seem greener. The air fresher. Everything you do will have more meaning and purpose.

Another thing you will begin to notice is you will start sleeping better. It will be much easier for you to fall asleep each night. And you will also find yourself sleeping deeper and deeper throughout the entire night.

It’s really something you have to experience first-hand. Your self-esteem will go way up. You will feel so much better about yourself. You will start to see yourself as a highly effective and hard working person.

And you will notice that you are much sharper and more alert. It will add confidence in yourself in everything that you do.

But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself!

I see. Get Kiamana to come to the gym everyday, make sure he get so tried after kicking the punching bag, that he dont have the energy to create trouble at midnight.

I dun remember being so angsty at 14..
Health is of utmost priority..
Use the money to consult a doctor..
Muay Thai you can always pick up some time later..
Speaking from personal experience..

Lastly, it does not reflect well on you to flame the elder brothers here who are giving advise..if it's good, you use it..if not, just let it go and live another day..

peace~ Wave
