Conditioning exercises
i know conditioning the body is a very important phase in Muay Thai, so i was wondering wat a some of the exercises u guys do to increase endurance and strength outside the normal training of kicking pads and bags?
Hi,
I do jogging, sprinting up hills, and use those fitness equipment in the parks near my house (chin ups, log raises, sit ups etc).
The other day while getting my hair cut i was reading the Mens Health mag they gave me. Not that i am a Mens Health fan at all, but it did have an interesting acticle on strength and conditioning. A kind of like back to nature style. Which i thought looked really interesting.I believe its called Movnat

I wonder if anyone in singapore is into it?
Cool! This is basically how cavemen moved around and that probably explains why their bodies always had that 6 pack and muscular arms and legs. Well if S'pore had this, I am definately into it. I am just not a gym person, I rather use nature then equipment.
Btw, the scenes and music in this clip are awesome!!
I did some more looking around on the web last night.
Movnat.com
Sounds pretty philosophical actually. But still the fittness and training side looks really interesting.
I sent them an email asking for any training programs or training instructions / techniques but they had none to give out. They also didn't have any instructors in Singapore. Pretty silly that they dont have basic training programs to give out.
wow! that guy moves like amonkey! hes really flexible and pretty strong! looks somewhat alil like parkour
jack of all trades.. ahaha!!!

well it depends on what type of endurance ure looking at.
going for regular jogs are impt, not forgetting skipping and moderate weight training with higher repetitions for muscle endurance.
