multiple kick
hi.. i have problem doing multiple kicks on pads.. the problem is sometime i can do multiple kicks but sometime i just cant find the rhythm.. i dont know why.. any advise to improve on this area?
go to youtube. look up some videos on people like kaew fairtex naruepol fairtex bla bla bla training on pads. look at their multiple kicks. and find that rhythm out of you. the technique and the movement. lucks.
Train hard,
Fight harder.
Yeah, its all about rhythm and stamina too. After a few kicks, sometimes our kicking leg tends to land to far back which of course disrupts the ryhthm or the kicking leg falls short of its original position which again disrupts rhythm as we need to readjust ourselves. We just to need to be conscious of how far the kicking leg lands and do not land completely as that also breaks the rhythm. No worries, it takes practice and time to get it right

Yup, there are many of these, observe closely.
thx all for the advise..i guess practice makes perfect.. cause the thing with me is, sometime i can do a good multiple kick but after 2 weeks of no training(cause i am in NS), i cant do the same for the next training..
take your sir's or encik's ribs for training. ask him for permission to carry on. when he says carry on, you start kicking. ![]()

Hi bro
I think the main things to look at for multiple kicks would be your balance, placement and your pivoting + twisting.
I'm just gonna assume you have proper balance, otherwise I'll just add on to this later.
You should be able to control your rhythm by consciously controlling:
1) Your position in relation to the pads - Too far/near, and proper alignment to target
2) Twisting of your hips
3) Pivoting of your supporting foot
Of course stamina plays an important part in this, but as far as rhythm goes, I feel these are the things you wanna always control. Twisting and pivoting will help you gain momentum and keep you 'in rhythm'.
Hope that helped. =)

Hey bro, I also have this problem! I think we should practise this at home in front of the mirror? My way is to use knees instead of kicks to find that continuous rhythm.
Hope that helps?
