Rib pain
guys, i got Teepded in the ribcage just below my nennehpok while sparring last week. there was a dull ache in that area and i had pain coughing or inhaling deeply for 2 days. got better with some ice and medicine to reduce inflammation/ swelling but the pain is still there now.
is there any way to make it heal faster? i can't train, can't spar, can't run, can't do situps, can't do pushups, can't do pullups without straining that area. last time i had the same injury below my other nennehpok but i hero go and train, end up took almost more than a month to heal and really affected my morale.
what kind of injury is it anyway?
sigh... so emo that i can't even do a simple pushup now..
bro, im not a doc, but for a injury to propagate into breathing problems, you best get it looked at man! could be dangerous!
Maybe you cracked a rib? Only a doc can tell you exactly what's going on. Don't delay!
took the same inflammation medicine that i got the last time from doc. didn't work out for 2 weeks and now it feels much better. very very slight ache only when i exert full strength, almost cannot notice. last time my other nennehpok injury, the doc said is strain the muscle fibres in between the ribs that's why pain so i guess this time is the same la..

yeah i had the same prob previously too from 2 occasions:
1) persist pain for abt 1-2m, hairline fracture on the ribs from body shot. Can't do much on it, just have to lighten to sparring n training.
2) muscle soreness from some bodyweight exercise, which strained the muscle fibres around the ribs. Recovered in 3 days after anti-inflammatory pills.













edit: when i said affected my morale, means i couldn't train to the max during lessons because of that nagging pain and that really disappointed me..
