A little Mismatch for the undercard match tonight
Well...Congrats to both Mitch n Antti for winning their bouts...but I personally feel that the 2ndbout was a little kind of mis-match. Poor boy...his first ever fight...and none from his gym even knows how to wrap the handwrap for him!! It was one of the contender trainer...see his aweful mess in doing the handwrap , that helps him with it.... I think its very selfish of the gym to send the boy for his first fight. No doubt they want him to gain experince...but certainly not in this event! The boy confidence is just gonna get shattered!!
Anyway, well done Mitch!! Hope to see you in action again!! Hmm...we were acutually wondering if the pair up for tonights match was mixed up...what if Mitch had fought Antti, and the Boy fought Mitch's opponent....hmm...
Maybe we shouldn't judge a book by its cover... but the guy for the second bout does not have the body that looks like one who's training really hard for muay thai.
Let's just say, he doesn't look like he's got much muscles and I think that is a big big problem.
What do you mean? It's not about the fighter, he had guts to get up there. It's about the ppl who sent him... It's called responsibility.

or rather a lack of it?
Was there no one to offer advice on pre-fight preparations and match making? or are the ppl to proud to ask for advice? pride and ignorance over welfare of the fighters?

actually it was kinda funny at the back. the crew and the two other fighters not from ASF actually thought antti was fighting mitch. and ryan fighting the other guy.
if that happened, it prolly be more entertaining. closer fights. i pick antti to win on points
Great straight jab to end the fight from Mitch.
Although I was a bit suprised that the other guy didn't seem to fancy it much. After he got caught toward the end of 1st round you could see he'd lost heart and definitely had had enough of geting punched!!!
Anyway, not often you'll see a fight ended at the start of 2nd with lovely snapped jab.
wasn't it a straight? the kind where you just rushed in with a right straight. he was clearly looking for a ko blow. it was a boxer against a kicker.

A lotta my friend, a lotta. IMHO Antti was polite and gave him a chance, Mitch or Ryan would just ripped him appart
But you're right, we do want to see Mitch vs Antti one day. That is gonna be a great fight.
You're right man.... I don't think we really want to see that again... I mean if a gym wants to make a good first impression on the local scene, try to do it right, like oil your boys first, do the proper handwraps, have some amateur experience if you want to send your boys straight to the pros fights and so on... But we have to give them, the new guys had the guts to go up into the ring in front of all spectators.
For Antti "The Lumberjack" this match was a walk in the park. We did love that knee!!!!!
But this time the "virtual" trophy goes to Mitch and his golden jab which put Ryan down in the 2nd round. Unfortunately our main man the writer, Hansen, couldn't make it to the fights tonight so we don't have a good write up.
