It's the Grand Mercure Roxy hotel, 50 East Coast Road,( opposite Parkway Parade shopping centre), Roxy Square, Singapore
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
newbie question ( hope you don't mind)
I'm male 30, am new here, hello. I'm interested in learning muay thai.
May I know the following please:
1)For a beginner, should I go for beginner group or private session?
2) In genearl, is it true that after eg 8/10 full sessions, I cannot enter the gym since I didn't 're-join' for other course eg intermediate course?
3) I have ligament tear on onr ankle but not very serious type. Will gym still allow me to join? Read more »»

Does anybody here use bag gloves on heavy bags?
I'm just wondering if any body here actually use bag gloves for heavy bag training. I know what are the differences between bag gloves and actual boxing gloves, I just wanna know what you guys actually use.
I read that using boxing gloves on a heavy bag tend to wear them out faster, so people should use bag gloves instead. Any opinions comments on that?
Flexible schedule classes
Hi all, first post
Anyway, I'm in my early thirties and wants to start training before it's too late for me. But due to work commitments, my working hrs is something like 10am - 8pm daily including sat and sun, with 1-2 days off per week, but not fixed. Had wanted to join those CC classes as they seem to be the cheapest and a good way for me to get a feel of things, but their timing is difficult to arrange and when I managed to fix up a schedule, the class got postponed due to lack of participants (TWICE!!) and I had to withdraw. What to expect for a first lesson?
Hi everyone, noob qns here. Like to check with the lao jiaos here what should i be expecting for a 1st lesson?
I attended a trial lesson with my fren at fightg recently, it was quite crowded, with about 20++ beginner/fellow trial students (probably went down on a bad day), so in a way i guess the instructor was not able to pay attention to everyone. Read more »»

trying to toughen up xD
hey guys!!
i have just enrolled myself in a beginners class, so i am pretty excited to start learning muay thai! unfortunately, my class only starts in late august..
nevertheless, i think its an opportunity for me to build up my stamina.. i havent been exercising for more than a month due to exams and writing up my thesis-- well due to laziness too, LOL..
i love exercising and doing sports, but lots of people have mentioned (well mostly my 2 bros and daddy) that i am very weak by nature.. haha.. so hope muay thai will toughen me up.. Read more »»

Hi peepz. I just learnt
Hi peepz. I just learnt about muay thai a lil' bit from books, and I love the importance of this art. Did anyone know where I can learn muay thai in Singapore?
Hand Wraps
Hey I've been going to a couple of lessons and saw that most of the students there are using hand wraps. I understand its more for safety than anything else.
Would anyone care to explain the different lengths, sizes and material of hand wraps that I can get from commercial or more common shops like Lonsdale/Everlast? I'm a girl and have average sized(i think) hands....
thanks. =D
