S1 Muay Thai Singapore - day two

Unbelievable fights!!!! Congrats to all the fighters, great show!
I was really impressed with under card fights, the Thai refs and judges were too, they said "your fighters have heart" Applause
As far as organization goes, much better than the last contender one - correct choice of location and size, big enough yet small enough to pack in atmosphere without making it look empty. Sunday the place filled up almost completely. It was a successful event, we really hope FWA will continue organizing the S1 and the rest of the gyms will take part.

S1 Muay Thai Singapore

Come witness the first S1 Singapore Muay Thai Championship at Safra Tampines on the 27th and 28th of September. Fighters from Singapore, Malaysia, Iran, Italy, Portugal and Thailand will fight for the S1 belt and the 5000$ prize!

Specific details

a) All participants must be Singaporeans only

b) Weight Categories will be as follows

Light Weight - 61.235 kg maximum - 135lbs

Middle Weight- 71.575Kg maximum -160lbs

c) All gym Managers to submit fighters Profile by 1st September 2008 no later than 5pm local time.

Note: Managers should have a substitute profile on standby should his initial choice not be able to compete due to any reason, thus not affect the tournament in terms of numbers of participants, Gym Manager is to ensure that the substitute go through medical & relevant requirements.  Read more »»

Fight Works Asia would like to invite all combative martial arts team Managers & Head Coaches in Singapore to the press conference of the S1 Singapore Championship that is organized by Fight Works Asia, Safra Tampines & the One Song Chai Promotions of Thailand.
