Hi all, wat abt Muay Thai Workshop? they teach at a community center... hope they dun turn out like wat britez say as "community center" standard... anyway any prob with those community center lessons? hope i dun offend anyone here... if i did i really dun mean anything as i'm quite new in this circle... cheers!!!
if a "community center standard" muay thai school can come up with people like louis wong and rafi, they can't be that bad.
plus, coach lai and coach jason are very kind and understanding people. they have their heads, hearts, hands, elbows, knees and shins in the right places.
My computer kept beating me at chess.
But it was no match for me at Muay Thai.

This "community centre" standard idea, does it make any sense at all?
Does a big well-equipped gym mean you immediately get great training?
Does an experienced, accredited coach teaching in a CC suddenly make the things he teaches invalid?
Makes sense much?
Politicians and diapers must be changed often and usually for the same reason.
hi all, actually i dun mean to discredit anybody here... cos i am still pretty new to muaythai and i was jus trying to understand wat Britez meant (in the above thread) abt community center standard. hope you guys understand dat i aint trying to discredit any teaching in regards to whr lessons are held. cos wanna find out more thats all. cheers...
Hey seanie_bg, I think you apologized enough on all threads
It's cool!
haha, okok... if the boss says i have apologize enugg den i must have... cos i dun wanna offend anybody on forums or start a war in forums... cheers to that though!!!
hm, cannot really stereotype. should look around and go for what suits you the best, depending on what your'e looking for - some gyms might be over-commercialized, and that's one advantage cc-MT classes have over these gyms - you might end up receiving more attention and care and be able to advance at your own pace rather than having to follow fixed and planned training schedules.
point taken!!! thanks...
wah you online all the time ah.
haha... today not working thats y... haha...
wat i meant by community center standard is where the tae kwon do coach teaches the akido class and muaythai class and the karate class.......... a multi tasking coach with no certification watsoever... thats wat i meant...
haha no hard feelings, was just giving my 2 cents worth! haha. Then these community centre standard coaches must be damn good, well-versed in mma!
