Singapore Ranger Creed

Permalink Submitted by kelkel5313 on Tue, 13/05/2008 - 12:52

Singapore Ranger Creed
Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavour to uphold the prestige, honour and espirit de corps of the Rangers.
Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier that arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land or by sea, I accept the fact that as a Ranger, my country expects me to walk further, faster and fight harder than any soldier.
Never shall I fail my comrades, I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically fit and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task, whatever it may be. One hundred percent and then some.
Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, my neatness of dress and my care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.
Energetically will I fight the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle, for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.
Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight onto the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor.

You must know what is muaythai first. Dont just because you go to movies or hear or follow your friends. Its a very good sport for all including girls and ladies. You must be mentally prepared for the training. Its tough but if you really can take it and train hard, you will be good.

You can go to the New Topic forum, Ruby Wang Muaythai Demonstration and see that girl. I knew she was once Fat. Being laughed at in school before. She left Singapore to train fully in Thailand for the real love of Muaythai Art. She is now in Khan 8, just received her certificate passed with the highest standard.
You can see her size now and I believed she is a much confident lady now like most who have recieve Muaythai training.
( Any Way how old are you? )

All the Best.

Joining Muaythai will make you a real woman. If a 16 years old girl can why not you?

Go and take it up.It will make you no more timid and wont be afraid any more.

Muaythai!!!!

kelkel,

Being a Ranger in the SAF you get my respect. But sorry I am not saying any thing bad about what you have wrote above. In Muaythai, and when you are in the ring facing your contender, you can put Ranger aside. Its yourself in there with full focus and fast think to react.
Its just like you gone through the Ranger course,it make you a better soldier. But in real war, you are on your own to react to the battle field.
Ranger is Ranger. Muaythai is something you got to be in it.
