Just went to have a look at the gym but it seems there is no one there. Did go to there website and it doesnt say anything. Would call them but I was just hoping to see what the training is like first. Does anyone train there?
Hi, yes, Bia's Muaythai Gym at Boon Lay Place has closed for good. But Johnny Chan is still running classes there on Tuesdays and Saturdays, if I'm not wrong.
Meanwhile, Bia's Muaythai Gym has taken over the premises which was previously occupied by Asoka Muay Thai and will open officially on February 1st 2011.
So Bia's Muaythai Gym still has Bia as the trainer but is now at Horse City (next to Turf City) in Bukit Timah.
The Bia's gym website has yet to be updated but it should be by next weekend latest.
Johnny Chan is the Johnny from Hilltop? Im going check out Bias in Feb. How is Bia's private class? Does he make you do skipping for 15 mins and then teach?
No, this is Johnny Chan, Contender Asia referee. The warmup before each training session is a must but it not purely skipping. Usually it takes up the first ten minutes.
Yes, it's now taken over by Bia's Muaythai Gym. It opens in February; only one-to-one training available for this month, while the place is being set up.
Asoka Muaythai is now closed.
Hi burningman, no I have no questions. I didn't ask any. Yes, I m with Bia's Muaythai Gym. Any questions about Bia's Muaythai Gym can be directed to me.
