Fairtex Bangplee Accomodations
Hello everyone. Wanted to ask if anyone has been to Fairtex Bangplee recently? Are the guest rooms of an acceptable standard i.e. clean, sanitary, not gross? Thanks!
It's like a 5 star resort, are you kidding?
Politicians and diapers must be changed often and usually for the same reason.
Ya, it's decent. Parts of it is gross because people cook in the corridor, but that's mostly the instructors' side of the accommodations.
Thanks very much, guys! That helps me loads.
Watch out for the leopard (or panther)......... :green:

I was more worried about falling into the pond and getting eaten by that monster fish

i'm gona ORD in august and my school wont start till oct. was hoping to fine someone who's interested to go either bkk or phuket for some training with me. fairtex seems so costly though.. hmmm. :-k
it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
similar thghts.
there are gyms in thailand offering muay thai at half the prices of fairtex.
but i doubt those gyms can speak english and since i cant speak thai. im pretty screwed.

I wouldn't worry about the language barrier so much. I figure if my Brit and Oz friends can wing their way through the secluded camps being the only white guys there, we can all surely do better, right?
popcorn yeah, there's a mini zoo behind the main compound with assorted animals. I think there are three leopards out back, if I remember correctly.
October's a good time to go, there are occasional showers to relieve the heat. I trained at two different locations in March and totally lost power towards the end of each session due to the extreme heat. It ought to be worse now, I think.
As in: now it's mine then later it's yours?
}:) j/k
Muay Thai Singapore
Ah, super. Yes, i do agree the heat is terrible in high summer.
Corea, if you're headed to Phuket, Suwit Muay Thai is good. I just got back from there.
Nothing fancy, but super training, and really nice people. And you don't need to learn thai, they know a tiny smattering of English words - and that's more than enough for training.
No, I think it's I sleep you fan, then you sleep I fan. :green:
