Good fights again, it seems the level of the fighters are only going up!

It was more a talent scouting event rather than a SEA Games qualif, since it seems Singapore muay thai won't go to SEA Games after all... Sad

And no mistakes on the judges part!!! Not even 1! Congrats to them too!

Anyway, here are some of the bouts and rounds, please do upload the clips you took, TIA!

Bout 4
Parthiban s/o Periasamy (HV) 65 vs Ng Lap Huan (BXG) 66
Winner Ng Lap Huan (BXG) blue

congrat to all the fighters that put in months of effort to train and to starve themselves. It's very impressive that all of them able to make their weight during the weight in session. In my opinion, all of them r winners... well done!! =D>

Bruce learned the take-down and grappling techniques very well. He caught his opponent's leg and threw him down many times. If there's anything to improve, it would be his boxing skill. =D>

I can see that he doesn't really want to box. he is trying to get a clinch most of the time. I guess is he strong at that.

You have the aggression, but your technique and experience is still quite lacking. U need to practice more combinations that uses all the 8 weapons of MT, and not just chain punches and single kicks. Learn to counter the different attacks that your opponent throw at you. If u can improve both these areas u will surely become a better fighter.

ryan needs to cut down on the wild punches. Maybe i can share some of my experience. wild punches will make u worn out fast. take it easy, first round test him first. be very tactful and work does combos. feel some punches and kicks so maybe next time u will want to block it. my instructor always tell me "to be a good fighter u must have 3 things. 1.power 2.speed and 3.know how to use your bloody brain in a fight, cause when u are in the ring u only got your sorry ass to help u." well hope tat will help u..just sharing..
