Wondering if this forum is still alive but in any case,
I'm currently in Bangkok and will be bringing back Muay Thai supplies for my friends in 2 days time. Does anyone want to get something for a small tip?
Just returned from the camp. Thought I share a little with my experience there for a week.
Located very near the old airport in Bangkok (Don Mueng Airport) Airasia fly daily into this airport. Taxi ride to the camp is about THB150 max 15 - 20mins ride.
Emailed them few weeks before i travel. Khun Ying (Samart's wife) manages the bookings of the rooms etc..
Damage: THB10,000
(Includes shared Air-con room, daily training twice a day and 2 very good meals in the camp)
Shower and cable T.V in bedroom.
I've a friend who is going BKK, just wondering as I'm asking her to get some MT stuff (handwraps/shorts). Where should I be directing her? Actual sports shops or roadside stalls? Or anything like sport/Muay Thai street?
I'm getting her to look out for the more common brands like Boon Sport / Fairtex / Twins Special.

Was in Bangkok about three weeks ago for the first time and I visited Lumpinee Stadium on a Tuesday night. Paid approximately 70 bucks to get in and I didn't know what was in it for me. Felt a bit funny as I was watching the fights with my Thai tour guide/driver as my mum didn't want to pay to go in and as you know, Thai girls with Caucasian dudes are everywhere so I hope no one got the wrong idea.
Hello everyone. I used to learn/train at BXG but have stopped for over a year. Joined this website almost 2 years ago but have never posted anything before. However, I do read many of the posts and have to say that this muaythai.sg community is really such a warm and friendly place! =D> Anyway, going to be in Bangkok on 22 Nov and was planning go to Ratchadamnoen to watch fights, if any. Does anyone know how to find information on the fight card (in English of course)? I was told Lumpini is closed on Sundays - is that true? Thank you in advance for any help or information.
Sorry if this has been asked before (did a quick search but didn't find much). Maybe we can have a sticky?
Where can I get Muay Thai gear in Bangkok. I understand there are some shops at/neat Lumpini Stadium (anyone got more details?), but besides the stadium, are there anywhere else I can get them, what about the average prices, e.g. shorts, handwraps, groin guard etc.
Hello everyone. Wanted to ask if anyone has been to Fairtex Bangplee recently? Are the guest rooms of an acceptable standard i.e. clean, sanitary, not gross? Thanks!
