I'll be going to phuket next week for about 1-2 weeks, and thinking of doing some muaythai training there.

Has anyone trained there before? How's your experience? Any great gym to recommend? (great in terms of quality training)

heading to phuket for 2 weeks in Dec, thinking of doing some quality training there.

not a hard core type but aims to keep fit and fine tune my techniques.

will be there with family for a week, and alone for "concentration camp" for another.

i noticed some gym are korean, french themed. any recommendation for a more balanced gym?

would like to ask if anybody can furnish me with details about J-Prapa MT Gym in Phuket. As i tried to do some search on the internet and cant seem to find any info. Could anyone that have heard of them or train there before share their experience or information about that gym? appreciate the help rendered!!!

Realised that there's already a list of 'where-to-get-muay-thai-stuff-from-where' posts but not many I believe about purchasing gear from Phuket.

I'll be staying around the Patong area, and from what I've checked up on so far, the best bet on getting TWINS stuff would be from Patong Boxing Gym.

Then again, prices at Tiger Muay Thai (gloves@ 1200 THB vs 1500 THB at Patong Boxing Gym I believe) are lower?

Am looking to go there sometime in mid-May so i'll appreciate it if folks who've been muay-thai-shopping there could shed some light on this?
