-a little confused- Installation of punching bag.

Submitted by contacted on Wed, 26/08/2009 - 20:40

Hi all,

Apologies for the noob-ish question.
I have read through quite a few threads on punching bags but mine just defers abit. My friend has passed to me a Liang Seng PVC punching bag (13"x42"). I heard that the installation involved 'shooting' the pin(hook) into the ceiling. Do I need to get the peeps from Liang Seng to do that, or can a contractor from a hardware shop can do the same?

Banana bags?

Submitted by jal on Sat, 11/10/2008 - 03:14

I'm sure this questions been asked before but i can't seem to find it.

Wheres the best place to buy a banana bag? Like a shop's name?
A 6ft, vinyl/PVC, unfilled bag?
Approximately how much is this going to cost?

Do prices vary like crazy between shops and between brands?
It doesn't have to be the fanciest brand (nice and inexpensive).

I would be a beginner. Looking for a bag that will last for atleast a year.
Any recommendations?

Techiniques in filling a bag

Submitted by sexytan on Tue, 08/04/2008 - 16:52

Ok, i understand that using shredded cloths for fillings are one of the best ways to fill your bag. but wont it be too light? wont your bag start swinging around when you kick?
