Hi everybody,

My name is George and I work for a new Thai Boxing gym in Koh Tao Thailand. Rim Thalay Muay Thai is a small gym right next to the sea where everybody can come and get some Muay Thai training, no matter if beginner or experienced fighter. We have also just launched our new website where we will add more pictures of the gym as soon as we have time for a proper photo shooting.

Muay Thai Camp Spotlight: Koh Tao Island Muay Thai

Submitted by FlavesEnt on Wed, 10/06/2009 - 22:39

Some of you may have been following the section of my blog which is dedicated to giving exposure to the various Muay Thai camps in Thailand. I've been trying to mix in the bigger camps like Lanna, Tiger, and Jitti with smaller camps like Phuket Dragon, and also this months feature camp, Koh Tao Island Muay Thai. There are a lot of things that make this camp unique. Here's a link to the article: http://dansmuaythaimma.com/?p=2445

Camp Spotlight: Phuket Dragon Muay Thai

Submitted by FlavesEnt on Tue, 12/05/2009 - 10:07

Hey Guys and Gals,

I am writing articles featuring different martial arts schools/camps across the world. If you know of any in Singapore that you would like me to write about, please contact me.

Here is my newest article featuring another great Muay Thai camp. It's a new camp called Phuket Dragon Muay Thai. I know a bunch of people that have trained there. Check out the article and let me know your thoughts.

If you think there is anything I left out, or if you know of another camp you would like to see featured, please let me know. Thanks.

Hey Guys and Gals,

I am currently spending a lot of time writing articles for my website that will spotlight various Muay Thai camps in South East Asia, including Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines. My first article is up here: http://dansmuaythaimma.com/?p=1361

If you own a camp, or know of a camp that you feel should be spotlighted, please either message me on here or through my website.

Thanks.

My Review - Phuket MMA/Tiger Muay Thai

Submitted by FlavesEnt on Tue, 07/04/2009 - 22:56

Hey Guys,

I recently got back from a month of training in Thailand at Phuket MMA/Tiger Muay Thai. It is the camp that Season 9 TUF Contestant Ray Elbe is the head MMA trainer at.

Also other UFC vets such as Jon Fitch, Mike Swick, Brodie Farber and Alan Belcher have trained there. I believe Tom Lawlor is training there next month.

Anyway, here is my review of the camp. You can check it out at www.dansmuaythaimma.com
Hope you enjoy it.

Lumpinee Fights

Submitted by portionsforpeter on Tue, 11/11/2008 - 13:12

Just got back yesterday from Bkk,
managed to go to Lumpinee on Friday night for the fights.

There were about 2 boxing fights,
then 7 / 8 muaythai fights for the night.
When you're a foreigner there you gotta pay like
3 or 4 times more for a ticket?!

My dad got my thai cousin to buy thai price tics
but we kinda got found out after a lady started talking
to us. I think tooo many people have tried to cheat them before.
Any in the end we had ringside tickets and my dad bargained
from 6000 plus baht to 3000 plus. :green:

I manged to get videos and pictures,

Training in Thailand

Submitted by Bodhisattva on Sun, 07/09/2008 - 17:15

Hello everyone ,

my name is Steve and i'm 25 years old .
I have 1 big passion , you could even say it's more like an addiction to me !
I love Muay Thai ! It's the first thing on my mind when i wake up and the last
thing when i go to sleep .

I've been to Thailand 5 times already ( i'm half Thai ) , and trained twice in a camp .
The first time 1 month , the second time 3 months and now i'm leaving in a couple of
weeks for 7 months . The training was ok the first time but way too short .

Where to train next in Thailand?

Submitted by Aplin on Fri, 22/08/2008 - 16:31

Hey guys,

I've just finished up training in Koh Samui and Chiang Mai in Thailand. I have about a month left here and want to train in Bangkok or central Thailand, I'm not to sure where yet though.

Has anyone had any experiences training at Kaesamrit, Eminent Air, Jitty's for a long period of time or any not too far from Bangkok for example? Thanks!

TRAINING AT TRUEBEE GYM, PAI, THAILAND

Submitted by torchai on Mon, 18/08/2008 - 13:23

I have just finished a 2-and-a-bit week stint training at TrueBee gym, and I have to say it has been a fun, amazing and educational experience. I have trained in muay thai as a passionate hobby for the last 3 or so years, and have made annual training trips to Thailand so have a leetle bit of background experience to compare my recent one at TrueBee to.

Any female Muay Thai practitioners wanna go Thailand to train?

Submitted by Sunfish on Thu, 01/05/2008 - 13:51

So yeah, I'm looking to go there at the end of the year or something, and was wondering if there are any girls who want to join me! It'd be fun to go as a group! If anyone's interested we can start scouting for camps to go to.
