WTS: TRX, Tapout XT and Perfect Situp. Clearance

Submitted by mind1503 on Sun, 05/01/2014 - 20:44

Hi all,

Some stuff to clear.

1) TRX suspension training, comes with gear, a dvd and a book.

Bought few yrs ago from one of the website in SG, but never used before.

2) TapoutXT, shall not elaborate much, you may refer to the website http://www.tapoutxt.com/

I bought it in USA, never use before, its dvd fitness training program, of MMA fighters. Never use the bands or elastic band, dvd boxes were disposed to save space initially, now all kept properly in sleeves.

3) Perfect Situp

Hey guys,

Have bought a pair of twins pads with a friend, and we're looking for more people to join us in training. Pads are sitting in my home in Ang Mo Kio so we'll train around the area here.

If anyone's interested in hitting pads and light sparring in the open, we'll be glad to get to know you.

Drop me a message at 96904172! Edwin here.

Cheers!

Conditioning Oil/Balm to recommend ?

Submitted by blazinglimbs on Sat, 01/10/2011 - 23:07

Hello fellow nakmuays

I am looking for an effective Conditioning Oil/Conditioning Balm, as I do a lot of conditioning during training. Very often, those parts will be painful to touch after that for days, up to a week. I am aware that the Muay Thai shop does sell a type of Boxing Oil, not sure how effective it is :-k Wondering why some Oil/Balm contain alcohol though :?

Any one has their favourite "legendary" Conditioning Oil/Balm to recommend me ???

How to be REALLY good at skipping?

Submitted by raiders on Fri, 05/02/2010 - 08:55

hi,
I'm wondering is there any other way to be really good at skipping apart from practice, practice and more practice?

I do endurance runs and hit the gym regularly for weight training but i just can't skip for more than 2 minutes non-stop. I know if i make a point to skip everyday i will be able to skip continuously for 5min one day but what i don't understand is despite me being so active in sports i can't achieve what i think i should be achieving at this point.

HAs anyone being thru this same stage as me? Any advice?

Shagged!

Submitted by Shahrail on Sun, 10/01/2010 - 00:38

WOAH! After not training for 3 weeks due to an overseas trip and not feeling well after the trip, i feel very very heavy going back into the gym today (9/01/2010). I almost puke twice while doing pad works  hahah. Was in a really bad shape. Maybe also because im a dummy and ate before the training. hahaha! so lesson learnt, do not eat before training. maybe just an energy bar or a banana. Blum 3 Tomorrow's another day in the gym. Need my rest.

And Im out....

Wrists Hurt

Submitted by Perpetua on Sat, 19/09/2009 - 23:19

Hi all! Today's my first ever MT lesson, so I'm pretty much a noob here....

When we were punching the heavy bags with the gloves on, my wrists hurts real bad whenever the punches connected. Is it normal or am I doing something wrongly? Or maybe I'm getting too old for this......
