Vote For the Most Respected Trainer In Singapore

Submitted by Mai Chai Khun Thai on Sun, 11/01/2009 - 23:03

I believe be it for business or for passion, all the muay thai trainers have developed many fighters as well have helped many achieve their goals.

Will like to hear reviews of why you think the particular trainer deserve to be recognize so that other users in this forum will have an option too in deciding who and which gym to chose from.

Anyway all trainers out there in singapore, deserve to be recognize and all have done a good job in promoting the sport!!!

Cheers!!! =D> =D>

S1 Muay Thai Singapore - day two

Submitted by gaijinu on Sun, 28/09/2008 - 19:17

Unbelievable fights!!!! Congrats to all the fighters, great show!
I was really impressed with under card fights, the Thai refs and judges were too, they said "your fighters have heart" =D>
As far as organization goes, much better than the last contender one - correct choice of location and size, big enough yet small enough to pack in atmosphere without making it look empty. Sunday the place filled up almost completely. It was a successful event, we really hope FWA will continue organizing the S1 and the rest of the gyms will take part.

S1 Muay Thai Singapore - first day

Submitted by gaijinu on Sat, 27/09/2008 - 19:19

Despite the f-1, the madness in town and the arbitrary restrictions imposed on the gyms forcing them not to attend the event, quite a sizable number of fans turned up for the first S1 championship in Singapore.

The first S1 belt went to Ng Choon Hao of Lana Muay Thai, he won by points against Neo Jit Wee of FWA. For the second belt Richmond Leong from the same Lana MT fought Mathias Gallo of Italy, Rich brought the belt home.

Conditioning and Nutrition for muay thai fighters

Submitted by gaijinu on Mon, 26/05/2008 - 22:31

A while back Mitch wrote this article called "Creating the Perfect Combat Athlete" on his blog:
Part 1: Conditioning
and Part 2: Nutrition. I thought to be a good idea to link it from our Articles section so our new members can find it easily. Another reason is that it has a lot of excellent info and holds answers to some of the questions in the Beginners' and Training forums.

Happy training!
